This poem was borrowed from my friend Christopher Tompkins :-) Chris is the portrait of a true friend. He has shown me that a friend allows us to be ourselves, and supports us no matter what. I honestly believe Chris would give his life for anyone. "The motto of chivalry is also the motto of wisdom; to serve all, but love only one"....Honore De Balzac. This quote describes Chris so well. He is an Airborne Infantryman....a paratrooper :-) Chris is originally from Springfield, MO, and is currently serving in the U.S. Army at Ft. Bragg, NC. He is currently stationed in Korea. On a personal note, Chris....In light of all the recent tragedy in New York, and the threat to our homeland, I know that you and your friends' practiced skills are now being tested....and I know those guns will work this time :-) America will be victorious....thanks to soldiers like you. I have every confidence in you and your comrades' expertise....I am very proud of you. I hope that there is a quick end to what seems an impossible task....so that your soul is once again free to dance :-) I will always cherish your friendship, and will continue to pray for your safety daily.
