"Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy"....Dale Carnegie.
This is so true for me....I tend to put off what I am not sure about and do nothing. When I am "forced" to get busy, I definitely gain more confidence and courage. I just haven't figured out WHAT could keep me on a more even keel....or what might actually help me to not procrastinate so much....
The following is taken from Dale Carnegie's Scrapbook....
"When God wanted sponges and oysters, He made them, and put one on a rock, and the other in the mud. When He made man, He did not make him to be a sponge or an oyster; He made him with feet and hands, and head and heart, and vital blood, and a place to use them and said to him, 'Go work!'"....Henry Ward Beecher.
Well, it seems as I wrote this and was so thinking about maybe not sharing as much....things just naturally happened beyond my control that pushed me to "go work". As I say, I am not proud of the fact that I put things off....but it is wonderful to think that life has a way of "helping us" when we desire to give up :-)
